The milestone matters more than the calendar
Most babies are ready at 4-6 months. What matters is that your baby holds their head steadily and is happy on their tummy for short stretches. They do not need to sit on their own yet. If you are not sure, send their age and what they are doing, and we will work it out together.

Milestone session questions
How do we know our baby is ready?
Your baby should hold their head steadily and be comfortable on their tummy for short stretches. Sitting unsupported is not needed. Send their age if you are unsure.
Do we need to travel anywhere?
No. The full setup is brought to your home in Toronto and across the GTA.
Can parents or siblings join?
Parents, yes: a parent portrait with baby is included if you would like one. Full family, sibling or grandparent portraits are available as add-ons. Mention it in your enquiry so it can be planned in advance.
How much does a milestone session cost?
Milestone sessions begin at CAD 450, all-inclusive.
What's included:
- Alina comes to your home with a mini professional studio: lighting, backdrops, outfits and props
- All original photos from your session
- 15 hand-retouched, artist-edited images, chosen by you from a proof gallery
- A parent portrait with baby, if you would like one
- No extra HST, no travel fee in Toronto and across the GTA, nothing added later
Full family, sibling or grandparent portraits are available as add-ons. Every extra person means more posing and setup during the session, time that comes out of baby's calm rhythm, and more retouching afterwards, as each face is edited by hand.
Alina specialises in babies and works with a mobile studio, so family photos are kept simple.
For other packages and add-ons, just ask in the form.
What if our baby is not in the mood on the day?
That is normal at this age, and it is planned for. The session time is chosen around your baby's routine: the part of the day when they are usually fed, awake and in their best mood. We take breaks when they are needed and follow whatever your baby finds interesting.
These days change quickly. The photographs stay.
